Sharks gearing up for Playoffs

The Wilmington Sharks will head to the playoffs on a three-game winning streak after a seven two win over the Morehead City Marlins on Tuesday night. The Sharks will be the number seven seed in the Petitt Cup playoffs when the first round best-of-three series gets underway here in Wilmington at the Legion Sports Complex on Thursday night. The Sharks will face off against the Fayetteville Swampdogs, the number two seed and their South Division rival in the Coastal Plain League. Game time tomorrow night is seven pm.
