Traffic project continues along Pine Grove Drive

The city is continuing work on a project to help ease traffic congestion and improve safety by realigning the intersection of Masonboro Loop, Masonboro Sound and Pine Grove roads. Work began in June and is expected to be complete this fall. The first part of the project, which includes drainage ditch clean-up and construction of the new road alignment at Pine Grove Road wrapped up last week. The second part of the project will begin this week. Beasley Road will continue to be available as a detour in that area.
