Three area attractions have made the top twenty five list in the state as the most visited over the last year. The Wilmington Business Journal reports that nearly ninety five thousand students have taken a field trip to the Aquarium at Fort Fisher between September two thousand nine and May twenty ten. The places the Aquarium at number eighteen on the list. The Cape Fear Museum and Battleship North Carolina also made the list, ranking twenty third and twenty fourth. Almost seventeen thousand students paid a visit to the Museum last school year, while the Battleship welcomed more than thirteen thousand students.
